"Legends" was founded in 1981 in Fort Worth, Texas with the goal of preserving the rich Western heritage which Texas and surrounding states have inherited from the hard work and determination of our forefathers. The Legends of Texas is an organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of that portion of American History between 1835 and early 1900's - the true western days of our country.
